BIO

ANNA PERESLEGINA 

Anna Pereslegina is a Moscow-based ceramic artist, born in the USSR. Studied architecture , graduating (MA, MFA) from the Moscow Architectural University (MArchI) and worked in leading architectural studios in Moscow.

In 2020, she shifted her practice to ceramics and completed her studies at the Moscow Academy of Crafts. Anna works with various designers and architects. She has studios in Moscow and the Tver region, spending her life in between urban and nature life, where she explores the relationship of nature and humans in her ceramic practice. Developing new techniques and trying to find her own art language to express own vision of being.

Her achievements include participation in the Annual Ceramics Exhibition at the All-Russian Museum of Fine Arts since 2024

EDUCATION 
•2025. Attended online course, “Saggar firing in electric kiln” by Jolanda van de Grint, Nederland. 
•2024. Attended the "Big Form" intensive with Turkish world champion in pottery, Ahmet Tashkhomdju.
•2022-2023. Completed a courses on creating author glazes, pottery wheel and working with porcelain. (Moscow Ceramics School)
•2020-2021. Diploma in pottery. (Moscow Crafts Academy)
•2008-2019. Has worked at leading international architectural firms in Moscow. (Büro Moscow, DNK_ag, Kleinwelt architects)
•2010. Graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, MArchI (M.Arch)
